Following the success of our Canadian sister company, Britavia Consulting Inc, BritAero Consulting Ltd was founded in the UK by Martin Andrews in June 2016 to provide technical consulting services to the aviation community. 

 

Martin brings in excess of 35 years of experience in commercial aviation. After leaving school, he joined Laker Airways as an Airframe & Engine Apprentice and since then has worked for a number of major airlines including Air Europe, Canada 3000, Qatar Airways, Skyservice Airlines & Sunwing Airlines. Martin has held various positions including Director of Maintenance, Head of Quality & Safety, Director of Quality Control, Quality Manager, Duty Manager Maintenance Control, & Station Engineer. This has enabled him to obtain a good overall knowledge of the airworthiness and record keeping requirements for commercial aircraft.

 

Martin is a registered member of the British Association of Aviation Consultants (BAAC) and holds a valid EASA Part 66 B1 Maintenance Engineers license, plus a Canadian M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license.
